Lontoon luonnonhistoriallisesta museosta tarttui mukaan pieni arkki leikkitatuointeja, joilla nyt koristelimme kananmunankuoria. Lapsi ei tiennytkään niiden "oikeaa" käyttötarkoitusta ja julmasti jätin asian edelleen paljastamatta. Tyttö oli innokkaasti mukana koristeluhommassa ja kaikkein hauskinta hänestä oli se, kun äiti puhalsi pää punaisena kananmunan sisälmyksiä ulos kuorista.

Tee siis näin: Pese kananmuna ja pistele siihen varovasti terävällä neulalla reikä molempiin päihin. Tyhjennä kuori puhaltamalla toisesta reiästä. Huuhtele sisusta vielä vedellä. Siirrä tatuointi ohjeen mukaan ja lakkaa koko munankuori halutessasi lakalla tai vedellä ohennetulla liimalla saadaksesi aikaan tasaisen kiillon. Reiästä voit pujottaa pitkällä neulalla langan tai nauhan ja ripustaa koristeet roikkumaan oksaan.

I bought a small set of temporary tattoos from the London Natural History Museum and we now used them for decorating some eggshells. Our daughter thought the most fun part of the craft was when mummy blew her lungs out while emptying the eggs.

Here's how to: Wash the egg and make two small holes in the shell using a sharp needle. Blow the contents out throw the holes (slightly enlarge the holes, if needed). Rinse the inside of the eggshell with water and blow the water out. Transfer the tattoo following the instructions on the package. If you fancy, add some varnish on the whole eggshell to get an even shine. You may also want to thread some string or ribbon with a long needle through the holes and decorate a branch with the ornaments.
