Siirtolapuutarhassa / In the allotment garden

The Herttoniemi allotment garden in eastern Helsinki is such a great place for a walk. I just love peaking through the gates and bushes into the gardens, which are all different from each other.

The gardens were established in 1934. There are 182 allotments in total and each have a small sympathetic summer cottage on them.

This is really a lovely place. These small gardens and wooden houses make me dream. Lucky you, the sunny weather is with you!

Tykkään itsekin kävellä siirtolapuutarha-alueilla, meillä on tässä lähellä parikin paikkaa kävelyetäisyydellä. Ihmisillä on niin ihanasti laitettuja pikku puutarhoja!

Onpa kiva, Niina! Joo, näistä näkee, että on vuosikymmenten kuopsuttelu takana :)
